Editorial policy

What we publish

GoGirlCam publishes guides that explain how live cam sites work from a viewer's point of view: the kinds of shows, how paying works, etiquette, finding shows, and privacy and safety. We also publish a glossary and short pages that explain each show format.

What we never publish

• Profiles, rankings, ratings or reviews of performers.
• Claims about who is broadcasting, how many people are watching or what anyone earns.
• Prices, offers or promotions we cannot check against the site that sets them.
• Explicit images or explicit descriptions.
• Anything that involves, depicts or appeals to anyone under 18. Youth-coded language is blocked by our publishing tools and cannot be published.
• Invented people, quotes, testimonials or statistics.

How a guide is made

Guides move through stages in our publishing system: idea, research, draft, review, fact check, ready and published. Whether a guide is written in our editor or prepared as a file and imported, it cannot reach "ready" until our publishing system has checked it automatically: headings must be in order, links to cam sites must go through our clearly marked buttons, prohibited terms block publication, and any guide marked as containing facts must list its sources. The same system flags wording that often signals an unsupported claim, such as ratings, audience figures, earnings, absolute promises or statistics without a source, so that it is checked or removed.

We use AI tools to help research, draft and edit guides, and our records mark which content was AI-assisted. Guides are published under the byline GoGirlCam Editorial. If a named person writes or reviews a guide in future, their name will appear on it.

Sources

When a guide relies on facts from elsewhere, such as official advice on scams or account security, we cite the source at the end of the guide with the date we checked it. Where we cannot verify a detail, such as a current price or a feature that differs between sites, we describe how to check it rather than stating a figure.

Keeping guides current

Guides are reviewed on a regular schedule, and sooner when something changes. Each guide shows when it was published and when it was last significantly updated.

Corrections

If you spot a mistake, please tell us with the page and what should change. We fix confirmed errors and update the page's date when the change is significant.

Money and independence from our content

GoGirlCam earns money when visitors we send to GirlCamHub spend on that site. That arrangement pays for the site; it does not decide what our guides say. Buttons that lead to GirlCamHub are clearly labeled, and how we make money explains the details.
