Chaturbate by the numbers: private show prices and live rooms, October 2026

Ask what a Chaturbate private show costs and you'll get a shrug or one person's anecdote. So we counted. On Thursday 29 October 2026 at 10:03 UTC we read GirlCamHub's public room list, which shows the same live rooms as Chaturbate, and recorded what each room charged for private and spy shows, whether it was marked as new, which tags it showed and how long it had been live.

This page sets out what that snapshot showed. We'll take a fresh count every month and add it here, so the figures build into a record of how prices move over time.

How we counted

Who was broadcasting

The site sorts rooms into four categories, and women's rooms made up nearly three quarters of the list.

The rest of this page concentrates on the 3,997 rooms in the women's category, since that's what most people come to GirlCamHub for. Where the other categories looked noticeably different, we say so.

What private shows cost

Private shows were close to universal: only 13 of the 3,997 rooms had them switched off. The rate is set in tokens a minute, and the rates bunch at a handful of values rather than spreading evenly, so a table of those values tells you almost everything.

The middle rate, the median, was 18 tokens a minute, and the middle half of rooms charged between 12 and 42. Almost three rooms in four asked 30 or less. At the top end, about one room in fifteen charged 90 tokens a minute or more, and a couple of rooms had set rates in the thousands, which is less a price than a polite way of saying no. Across all four categories the picture was almost identical, with the same median of 18.

What that means in money depends on how you buy tokens. Small packages cost about 14 cents a token, the 400-token package about 10 cents and the largest card package about 8 cents, so here is ten minutes at the most common points:

Two things change the real cost. Performers also set a minimum number of minutes, covered below, and leaving early still costs you that minimum; Chaturbate private shows explained covers how that works, along with premium shows. And the gap between the small and large packages is as big as the gap between neighbouring price points, so how you buy tokens matters about as much as which room you choose. Minimums, premium shows and recordings

The rate is only half of what a private show commits you to. To see the rest, we opened every tenth room in the women's category, 367 rooms in all, about an hour after the main count, and noted the other private show settings each one showed.

Ten minutes is the standard by a long way: just over half the rooms used it, and only about one in ten had no minimum at all. Put that together with the median rate and the typical smallest commitment for a private show is 180 tokens, which is $14.40 to $25.20 depending on how you bought them.

Premium private shows, which nobody else can spy on, were on offer in 312 of the 366 rooms, about 85%. And 264 rooms, nearly three in four, allowed the buyer a recording of the show to watch again on the site; the rest had recordings switched off.

Morning and evening compared

This isn't our first count. On 23 October, at about 18:00 UTC, when it's afternoon in the Americas and evening in Europe, we counted the whole public list for our guide to private shows for performers. Putting the two side by side shows how much the list changes with the time of day, and how little the prices do.

The evening list was about half as big again as the morning one, but the median stayed at 18 tokens a minute in both, for all rooms and for women's rooms alone. The morning list leaned slightly towards the 30 to 42 band and away from 12 to 18. One pair of counts can't tell you whether that's down to the hour or just to the day, so it's another thing future counts will show.

Spy shows

When a room goes into a regular private show, other viewers can usually pay a lower rate to watch without taking part. Spy rates were lower and even more bunched than private rates.

The median spy rate was 12 tokens a minute, and almost half the rooms charged 6 or 12. About one room in twenty showed no spy price at all, which most likely means spying was switched off. The odd one out is a group of 74 rooms that set spying at 360 tokens a minute, more than nearly any room charged for a private show itself. New rooms

The site marks newly started broadcasters as new, and 207 rooms in the women's category, about one in twenty, carried that label. Their private rates had the same median as everyone else's, 18 tokens a minute, but a different shape. A third of new rooms sat at the minimum of 6, against a fifth of established rooms, and just over a fifth charged 60 tokens a minute, more than twice the share among established rooms. The list doesn't say why so many newcomers sit at 60, so treat that as something to watch in future counts rather than a pattern we can explain yet.

Interactive toys and other tags

Most rooms show five of their tags in the list, so tags give a rough but useful picture of what's on offer. In the women's category, 987 rooms, about one in four, showed a tag for an interactive toy such as Lovense, Lush or OhMiBod, the toys that respond to tips. Because the list shows only a handful of tags per room, the real share is probably higher. Interactive cam shows explained covers how tip-activated toys work from the viewer's side.

At the other end of the scale, 92 rooms tagged themselves as non-nude, a reminder that a public room can be just company and conversation. Around one room in eight in the women's category used the latina tag, the most common of the regional tags.

How long rooms had been live

The list shows when each room started its current broadcast, which tells you how long it had been on at the moment we counted. That isn't the same as how long a show lasts, since many of these rooms carried on after our snapshot.

Half the rooms had been live for less than three hours, and about one in seven had been on for six hours or more. Long sessions are common, which is why following a room and getting a notification is more reliable than hoping to catch someone at a particular moment.

If you set prices as a performer

If you broadcast, these figures show where your private rate sits against everyone else's at the same moment: 6 to 30 tokens a minute covers most of the list, and anything from 60 upwards puts you in the top fifth. A rate is only one part of a pricing decision, though. Your minimum, your spy rate and whether you offer premium shows all shape what a show is worth to a viewer.
