Starting a Chaturbate fan club: price, perks and how members pay you

Where the fan club setting lives, how to pick a price between 50 and 2,500 tokens, how card and token members pay you, perks that work and the terms that can cost you.

A fan club lets your most regular viewers pay you a monthly subscription, on top of whatever they tip. You set the price and decide what members get. This guide covers the performer's side: where the setting is, how members pay and when the tokens reach you, which perks are worth offering, and the parts of the platform's terms that are easy to miss. If you'd like to see it the way your viewers do first, Chaturbate fan clubs explained covers what members pay and what they expect.

Everything here comes from the "Start Your Fan Club" lesson in Chaturbate's Creator Academy and from the platform's terms, both read on 22 October 2026. GirlCamHub runs on the same platform, so it works the same way there.

Why performers bother

Tips arrive when someone's in the mood. A subscription keeps arriving every month until the member cancels, which is why Chaturbate's own guide pitches fan clubs as the steadier part of a performer's income. The other benefit is visibility: every member gets a green username in your chat, so you can tell at a glance when your core supporters walk in.

That second point matters more than it sounds. Regulars who feel noticed tend to stay regulars, and the green name does the noticing for you.

Setting it up

  1. Open your fan club settings On your profile, go to the Settings & Privacy tab, then Broadcaster Settings, and find the Fan Club Settings section.
  2. Pick a monthly price Choose it from the dropdown. It can be anything from 50 to 2,500 tokens a month.
  3. Write the perks into your bio Members automatically get the green username and can send you private messages, and you can make chosen photos or videos free to them. List anything beyond that in your bio, so people know what they're paying for.
  4. Open it As soon as a price is set, the fan club is live and viewers can join.
  5. Tell people it exists Mention it during shows, put it in your bio and share it on your social accounts, with the perks spelled out.

To see who has joined, open your broadcast page, click the gear icon in the chat settings and choose "View Fan Club Members" at the bottom.

How members pay, and when you see the tokens

Members choose between two ways to pay, and the money reaches you differently.

  • By card, monthly. The member is billed every month, and you receive the tokens each time the payment goes through. They show in your token stats when the member is rebilled.
  • With tokens, three months at a time. The member pays for three months up front, and you receive all three months' tokens at once.

Keep the token option in mind when you set the price. At 100 tokens a month, someone joining with tokens hands over 300 on the spot, which can put off a viewer who's still deciding. A price that looks small per month can be a big ask in one go.

Choosing a price

The range is wide and the choice is yours. Three things make it easier.

Match the price to what you'll really deliver. Members weigh what they pay against what they get. A modest price with perks you reliably provide beats a high one that promises more than you can keep up.

Think in your viewers' money, not tokens. Viewers buy tokens in packages, so it helps to know roughly what your price costs them in dollars; what Chaturbate shows really cost has the package prices and the conversion.

Remember the three-month lump. Token payers pay three times the monthly price at once, so a high monthly figure is a much higher first payment for them.

Perks that work

Chaturbate's guide suggests a handful, and apps can automate most of them. The same App Directory that holds tip menu and tip goal apps has tools for member-only offers.

  • Free or discounted ticket shows for members
  • Exclusive photos and videos
  • Shout-outs, emojis or other recognition in chat
  • Lower rates for private shows
  • Rewards for members who stay a long time

The academy's advice on running the club is sensible: offer only what you can keep delivering for the long term, tell members clearly what they get and when, engage with them regularly, rotate perks now and then so things stay fresh, and make members feel like insiders. The featured creator on that lesson is Sara Loverays, who won Female Streamer of the Year at the 2025 XMA Creator Awards, so the advice comes from someone running a club at the top of the site.

Two rules in the terms worth knowing

Renewals are automatic. A membership paid by card renews and is billed again every month until the member cancels it. That's convenient for members who want to stay, and it's another reason clear perks matter: people who feel they're paying for nothing cancel, and some go further.

Refunds and chargebacks can cost you. If fan club members ask the platform for a refund, or dispute the charge with their card company, the terms reserve the right to charge you a chargeback fee and to suspend your fan club. The platform can also withdraw permission to run one at any time. The practical defence is the advice above: promise only what you deliver, and make the perks obvious before anyone pays.

Questions performers ask

What do members get without me doing anything?

A green username in your chat and the ability to send you private messages. Free photos and videos are optional, and any other perk is whatever you list in your bio and deliver.

Is a fan club the same as supporter membership?

No. Supporter membership is a site-wide paid upgrade that viewers buy from the platform; a fan club is paid to you. Is Chaturbate's supporter membership worth it? explains the viewer's side of that difference.

Where it fits

A fan club works best once you have regulars to offer it to. If you're still building that audience, how to get viewers on Chaturbate comes first, and how Chaturbate pays models explains how the tokens become money. If you're weighing a fan club against a separate subscription page, Chaturbate vs OnlyFans for creators compares what each keeps and how each pays.

You can sign up as a performer on Chaturbate itself or through GirlCamHub; the platform is the same. To be upfront about it: GoGirlCam has the same owner as GirlCamHub, and we earn a referral fee when a performer who joins through our button starts earning.
